I am extremely experienced when it comes to basic and advanced cat care! I have lived with cats my entire life and spent my youth studying their behaviors and body language to better understand them. In adulthood I started doing rescue/fostering of local cats, which has led me to raise kittens from the day of their birth, helped adult cats get through illnesses, and helped senior/geriatric cats find a loving family to spend their golden years with. I strongly believe all animals should be treated with respect and living beings, and I aim to always do so, even in cases where the cat may not be a fan of me. I am comfortable with giving medications orally via pill or liquid, transdermally via gel, or by injection as needed, and I understand the importance of giving medications on a strict schedule. From my work with rescue cats, I also know what to do in the event of a medical emergency, am able to stay calm and get the cat to a vet when needed, and what to keep an eye out for before an emergency happens to help prevent one when possible.
